this post is about learning new stuff, scare yourself and some of the best airtime I ever had.
Todays mission, to hike a peak at the Pitztal Glacier, was cancelled after we saw the bad conditions in the face we wanted to ski. But the wheater was awesome and we skied enough sidecountry the last two weeks, so we decided to enjoy this tuesday morning in another way...
Fabi brought two speedgliders with him and asked me if i would like to try to fly with him. I was totally excited that i would have the chance now to see the mountain from a hole new perspective. But at the same time i was super scared because I had no idea if i would be able to handle the speed and the height and all that stuff and I never tried anything like that before.
But if you want to progress you need to let these doubts behind you and just go for it!
When i was sure that i have to do it Fabi gave me a crash-course and showed me how to do it!
I don't think that i would have tried without him pushing me! Thanks for that!
When i started getting up high i was totally overwhelmed cause I thought i maybe don't even leave the ground, but after some seconds i was higher than I had ever been on my own!! I cannot describe the feeling but it was just awesome! Now I'm happy that everything went well and that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to learn something new.
